The cottage is 80 kms from world famous Cradle Mountain and 80kms from popular Stanley, a convenient midway point, and only 20kms from either the scenic Hellyer Gorge, Burnie or the main town of Wynyard with its airport providing a direct link via *Regional Express (REX) to Melbourne several times per day.

If you fly in from Melbourne, you may hire a car at the Burnie/Wynyard airport, catch a taxi or make prior arrangements for a pickup with us.
If you are arriving by car you will be able to follow the roadsigns to Burnie, Wynyard and Yolla in that order or turn left at Somerset before you get to Wynyard.See Map below.

Yolla itself is a small town at the centre of a thriving dairy and agricultural area.
The cottage is 2.5 kms from the township which boasts a general store open 7days a week, 7am to 7pm, (all day breakfast) and a tavern which has a restaurant.
